Mindie Burgoyne, author of Haunted Eastern Shore: Ghostly Tales from East of the Chesapeake has crafted this bus tour that will cover haunted sites in Talbot and Caroline Counties, on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. A certified guide with an understanding of the Eastern Shore’s haunted history will guide guest through the Mid-shore landscape stretching from Tunis Mills to Oxford, Easton, Denton and Preston.
Research for these tours was gathered by studying county histories, old newspaper articles, oral commentary, personal interviews and the folklore collection in the Edward H. Nabb Research Center at Salisbury University. The guide will point out places for where others have snapped digital images and seen apparitions and oddities, and you will walk through two cemeteries – one known to be haunted by the spirit of murderer, Marshall Price.
SITES ON THE TOUR include Whitemarsh Cemetery, Robert Morris Inn, Unionville, the Old Denton jail, Willson’s Chance (haunted by the ghost of Annie Belle Carter), the grave of Marshall Price, Linchester Mill (site on the Underground Railroad) and several sites in the Town of Easton and Town of Denton.
Some of the sites will be seen only from the bus as the group drives by. There will be places to deboard and take a closer look – the cemeteries, Robert Morris Inn in Oxford.
COST: $1500 for 50 people. Includes bus transportation from the Mid Shore to the sites, private guide for 3-4 hours.
To pick up guests in outlying areas, cost will be adjusted accordingly.
TIME & WEATHER: Bus tour lasts 3 to 4 hours and can be longer if the guests would like a longer stop at the Robert Morris Inn to have drinks or lunch (price not included). We tour in all kinds of weather except weather that is hazardous to public safety. If it looks like rain, bring an umbrella, rain coat and proper shoes. We will deboard the bus in the cemeteries and Linchester Mill so dress for the weather.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: $500 deposit is required six weeks in advance. Balance of full cost is due on arrival. Full refund of deposit is given if cancellation is made four weeks in advance.
